Description
The grout cures to give an extremely adhesive, flexible and waterproof material, which is used to fill and seal joints, gaps, cracks and voids in construction materials. The compound is also used to produce a flexible, waterproof topping to concrete. The material is supplied in 4kg/2.5 litre and 20kg/12.5 litre packs and has a shelf life of 1 year.
Special Properties
- Portland cement based, premixed, pre-packed and ready to use.
- Available in white, and also in a range of colours.
- The dry pack and latex are quickly and easily mixed and applied.
- Adheres strongly to all construction materials: cement, mortar, concrete, brick, stone, steel, wood, plastic, bitumen, asphalt and glass.
- Elastic: will flex in sympathy with moving joints or cracks in concrete, brick or render.
- Flexible, resilient and wear resistant.
- Remains flexible at high temperatures, and temperatures as low as -40ºC.
- Microporous, waterproof, weatherproof and frost resistant.
- Impermeable, and forms a barrier to aqueous solutions and chemicals.
- Water “soluble” - material and equipment can be washed and cleaned with water.
- Economical, non flammable, non toxic, solvent free, user friendly and safe to use.
Uses
- For the repair and replacement of expansion joints in floors, paths, car parks and roads.
- To form flexible seals between precast concrete, bricks and blocks.
- To fill, seal and waterproof cracks, gaps, joints and seals.
- In void filling applications where a flexible material is required.
- To repair damaged tar macadam, asphalt or bituminous roofs, floors, paths and roads.
- To produce waterproof surfaces that will also absorb shock, impact and vibration.
- Elastic requirements during cold weather or low temperature situations.
